Last week was the busiest week of the summer here in the Valley. Between Sanford's Celebration, Manassa Pioneer Days and Stampede...there was a lot going on. I took Thursday and Friday off of work to have some fun with Joselyn and to go to all of the Celebrations. I had so much fun spending a few days with her and everyone else.
Thursday we went to the Sanford Celebrations. We watched the parade, ate at the BBQ and went to the races. Joselyn did really good in the 3 and under race. Next year we're going to win it. I raced in the 3-legged race with Whitney and lost to some old ladies (Shae and Melisa). We're going to practice and have a big come back next year. We were pretty tired after all of that excitement and went back to Grammy's house and finished sewing the dresses.
Friday we went to the Manassa Pioneer Days. The 3 little girls wore their matching dresses that we made. Jace and Travis wore matching shirts. We watched the parade, ate a hamburger and went on a few carnival rides. The carousel made me sick so I decided not to test my luck on the big girl rides. We went over to one of Kevin's friend's house to visit and ended up riding a zip line at their house. It was pretty fun.
Saturday we went and watched Ryan rope in Manassa. (We won't mention how he did.) Joselyn had fun riding Hank. She didn't want to get off of him. After the roping, Kevin went to the mountains with Dad and Ryan to work on the cabin and Joselyn and I went back to the parade for a bit. That night we watched the fireworks. Needless to say, we were all a little tired. Until next year's celebrations...
Cool Shades Jace!
