What a wild couple weeks we've had.  I don't even know where to start.  :)  While we were still in the hospital, I was having a hard time nursing Hailey so a lactation nurse asked if she could do a home visit.  I surprising said yes and was grateful for all of the help I could get.  (Trying to be super mom and acting like you can do everything on your own is way overrated I've learned.)  I'm so grateful that I said yes because we were able to monitor little Hailey's weight and also found out early that her jaundice had gotten a little out of control.  By the Tuesday after we were home she had lost almost a pound and her billirubin levels were at 18.1 which is on the low side of the high/dangerous range...if that makes sense.  So our sweet little one was connected to some UV lights for a couple of days.  Luckily we got a billiblanket so we were still able to hold her somewhat.  She was our little night light for awhile.  Kevin called her his little glow worm.

Cutest little glow worm you've ever seen huh?  Thankfully those lights worked wonders and by Thursday she was able to be off of the lights.

Wednesday I took the girls into the doctor because they had been coughing for about a week and I finally got sick of it.  Well, they had strep.  Great!  The next day Kevin and I went and got cultures.  I had strep too.  So much fun!  We're all feeling better though so that's good.

Well to make things a little more wild...Tuesday (at the same time as Hailey's doctor appointment) Andy and Ryan found out that they would be having their sweet baby...a couple months early.  Tiny Mylee Ryan was born on Wednesday, April 20th....weighing in at a whole 1 pound 3.9 ounces and 11 inches long.  She's doing great and is such a fighter.  (I'll steal some pictures from Andy's blog as soon as I get some time.  Mylee's pretty darn cute.)

So yes, life has been wild in my family.  This week has been a lot more calm and we are grateful for that.

Here's a few pictures of the girls in their Easter dresses.  (I had to go buy new dresses on Saturday because Joselyn didn't like the skirts that I made for them...stubborn girl.)  We didn't try to hard to get a good picture because we were just ready to get out of our dresses and get some grub and eat candy of course.

Macey is a giant now!  I can't believe how much bigger (and meaner) this little girl is now that Hailey is in our home.

Ohh- She's darling Kristin! Glad things are looking up! Sorry you had such a rough few weeks. The picture of her as the little glow worm is too cute.
